Quotes

a-to-z-letters-quotes

The words of others, and even our own words, will last long after we are gone.  Through the centuries and millennia, this has been proven time and time again.  The words left behind by others enrich our lives and give us insight into the eternal human condition.

I often look for inspirational quotes to shed light on situations in my life or to expand, usually more eloquently, my own line of thinking. There are certain inspirational words that I rely upon regularly.  Do you?  Do you find comfort in the words of others?  Clarity?  Encouragement?  Peace?  Camaraderie?  What quotes do you carry with you?  Why are they important to you?

Lately I’ve been sharing my photography and quotes that hold meaning for me on the CHill Thoughts Facebook Page and Pinterest Page.  I enjoy sharing both the pictures I love as well as the words that I find helpful with others.

For that reason, I’ve added a page to the blog titled “Insights”; you can find it in the menu links below the page header.  I’ve created images with html code that can be copied and used to share these images with others on your own blog.  Even if you don’t want to use any of these images, I hope that you will take a moment and enjoy them.

  1. I've got to figure out how to link my blog to a Facebook page. You are inspiring me! I haven't saved quotes on Pinterest yet...so far use it for recipes and ideas for crafts to do with my granddaughters this summer.

  2. Lovely choice of topic for Q. I like quotes especially the motivational and inspirational ones. there's something about a quote said by someone long ago, which perfectly suits you need and situation, that's one of the most fascinating things about them.

  5. I'm a big fan of photos with words, and I love that you create your own, using your own photos! I've followed your Pinterest and FB so I can keep up with them. :) The only pics with words I've created were three LOLCat photos of my own cats, with my own funny sayings. Nothing inspirational though. I'll look to yours for that. :)
